Improving English Learners’ Academic Language Proficiency and Increasing Student Reclassification

California English 3D® is an English Language Development program that supports California’s English Language Arts/English Language Development Framework. Developed in partnership with Dr. Kate Kinsella, the nation’s leading scholar on the instruction and achievement of English learners, English 3D is designed to accelerate English language development, improve academic standing, and graduate students with the skills they need to become vibrant members of society.

Building Content Literacy through Learning

ACCESS prepares students to perform at grade level in content-area classrooms by blending best practices in English language development instruction with academic content, differentiated instruction and assessment. The program simultaneously teaches language and content to provide students with a successful transition to core instruction for students who have gaps in their formal instruction.

The series includes ACCESS Newcomers, ACCESS American History, ACCESS World History, ACCESS Science, ACCESS Math, and ACCESS English Language Arts.
