New York City Public Schools recently secured a grant through a public-private partnership via the Fund for Public Schools to offer Amira Learning student licenses at a significantly discounted price to elementary schools that opt in to NYCPS. Amira Learning provides 1:1 reading tutoring, reading fluency assessment, and dyslexia risk screening – from anywhere.

Grades K–6

HMH Into Literature is a comprehensive English language arts program that offers rich content, actionable insights, personalized learning, and standards-based instruction—all within one seamless experience. High-interest, relevant materials motivate students and serve to build agency and a growth mindset. For teachers, HMH Into Literature provides a flexible design, including expanded access to rich and varied digital resources for each literacy strand. The program provides the instructional tools, rich pedagogy, and professional services to ensure that teachers and students not only reach—but exceed—their instructional goals.

Eligible for discounted student licenses through the Universal Literacy Grant. Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), Amira is the reliable classroom assistant that assesses oral reading fluency (ORF), screens for dyslexia risk, and provides reading practice. Developed in conjunction with leading psychometricians, neuroscientists, reading scientists, and AI researchers, Amira generates actionable instructional recommendations with every interaction, maximizing the time teachers spend with students. Waggle is recommended as an approved intervention program by the Chief Academic Office for Academic Recovery. Waggle is a digital learning solution that goes beyond adaptive learning to provide personalized practice and instruction to support skills-diversity in the classroom. With skills-based practice that assesses knowledge in real-time, teachers can support the needs of all learners. Available in English and Spanish!
Grades 3–12
With Writable, you can deliver the support your students need and align assignments to today’s English Language Arts standards. Writable‘s online suite of tools invites students to engage in purposeful writing. They can develop drafts and reflect on and incorporate feedback to make their writing stronger by using student-friendly rubrics as guides.
