ICLE Senior Fellow Eric Sheninger leads the Digital Leadership & Learning practice area. As the award-winning principal of New Milford High School, Sheninger oversaw the successful implementation of several sustainable change initiatives that radically transformed the learning culture at his school while increasing achievement.
His efforts to implement technology as a mechanism for transforming teaching, learning, and community engagement have led to the formation of the Pillars of Digital Leadership, a framework for all educators to initiate sustainable change to transform school cultures.

Meet Sylvia Acevedo
Co-author of HMH Family Engagement, Sylvia has enjoyed a broad business career, serving as an executive for several Fortune 100 companies, such as IBM, DELL, and Apple, and currently serving as the interim CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA. She has used her engineering expertise as a social entrepreneur to create scalable solutions in education and health, especially for English language learners and their families. Sylvia has also developed a curriculum for Pre-K readiness used to train Spanish-speaking only mothers and their toddlers. President Obama named Sylvia to the White House Commission for Educational Excellence for Hispanics where she serves as Chair of the Early Childhood Subcommittee.
