Collaborative Instructional Review Process

The CIR Process provides a model of reflection, coaching, and support focused on instructional design that engages learners. The steps and rubrics within the process mirror and support the new T-TESS.

The Collaborative Instructional Review (CIR) process helps transform every principal into a powerful instructional leader, capable of unlocking the instructional power of every teacher and, in turn, the learning potential of every student.

The CIR Process, through the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE), provides districts and schools support as they transition to the T-TESS by:

  • Providing a data-driven model for a successful implementation
  • Bringing teachers and principal together to discuss effective instruction
  • Empowering teachers with the tools to drive student-centered change
